Baiano started his career in Astro in 1996. In 1997 he disputed the Brazilian Infant Championship. The team won the title disputed in Rio de Janeiro which led them to represent the Brazilian Infant National Team in the preliminary World Cup 1998 in France, where he was vice champion.
In 1999 he played in Portuguesa Londrinense. After he was loaned to Vasco da Gama and there he was Carioca Youth Champion in the same year.
In 2000, now as a professional player, disputed the Paulista Championship in São Bento team, and on the following year, after a brief return to Portuguesa Londrinense, was transferred to Mexico playing for Club Acapulco Mexico with light passing through Cruz Azul.
In the period 2005 to 2006 he returned to work brazilian fields in Portuguesa Londrinense.
In 2007 Baiano returned to play abroad with FC Ararat, first division of Armenia (Asia). The following year was his first experience in European football, Baiano debut in Universitatea Cluj - one of the most traditional teams in the first division of Romania.
In 2009 he disputed the Romanian second league in FC Bihor. After the end of the championship, in the second half of 2009, Baiano returns to U Cluj (Romanian second division) and helped the Universitatea Cluj retorns for the first romanian league.
In july/2010 Baiano signs contract with CS Pandurii, a team that also compete in the romanian first division in season 2010/2011, however, Baiano was transfered in september 2010 for the Politehnica Iasi, team in second division of Romanian, there Baiano signedone of the major reinforcements to fight to the return to first division
In january/2011, after playing three years in Romania, Baiano signed with the bulgarian team Slavia Sofia.
In December 2012, Baiano signed with Terengganu FC, team vice champion in 2011 in Malaysia championship who will play the AFC Cup in 2012.
